Último Porto
About This Spot
Último Porto is a quietly authentic seafood haven tucked into one of Lisbon’s working harbor corners. Arriving here, you won’t find postcard views or polished decor, but rather the honest hum of the dockside rhythm—faint echoes of cranes, shipping containers, and the occasional shuffle of boots on pavement. It’s a place where time slows down, the pace unhurried, inviting you to settle in and focus on what matters most: fresh, expertly grilled fish and the company around the table.
The mood inside carries a certain earnestness—a local favorite where fishermen and neighborhood regulars gather for a midday respite or an evening meal. It’s not a place dressed up for tourists, and that adds to its charm. Service might feel deliberate rather than rushed, creating space to savor the experience rather than race through it. Conversations drift easily, punctuated by the subtle scents of wood smoke and the sea.
At Último Porto, the menu feels like a direct line to the waters that surround Lisbon. The fish here isn’t just caught, it’s celebrated—grilled with a focused skill that elevates simple, natural flavors. The experience of sharing plates, whether it’s the charred sardines, tender clams brightened with garlic and citrus, or other local catches, draws you into a culinary tradition that’s both understated and deeply satisfying. There’s a quiet pride in the way each dish is prepared, a reminder that the freshest ingredients and careful hands can create something resonant and memorable.
Though the harbor view might be industrial, Último Porto offers an intimate glimpse into Lisbon’s maritime heartbeat, reflected in every bite and every moment shared. It’s a place where the joy isn’t in the flash or the show, but in the authenticity of simple pleasures, local rhythms, and the unmistakable warmth of a well-cooked fish.

Great food, slow service. The restaurant is located at the port of Lisbon, quite interesting. The views aren't that great as large cranes and containers block the river and 25 de Abril bridge. Plenty of free parking at the side of the restaurant, which is great. Service was really slow and kind of rude at times (not our main server though), entrees took like 1h and the rest of the food another one and the order was a bit mixed up with even one dish forgotten. But the food... We mostly ate fish and it was really good, worth the wait? Well, that's up for consideration but it was great. Well cooked, seemed quite fresh and it was well seasoned. I can recommend this restaurant only if you're not in a hurry and if temperatures outside are not that high.

It is not an easy place to get to in the middle of the port, but definitely worth going if you feel like very fresh fish or seafood straight from the grill. It was fully booked on a Saturday lunch and packed with locals. And yes, the bridge was not operating, so we had to struggle a bit to get an Uber back to Lisbon.

This restaurant is for locals rather than tourists. The staff are not particularly friendly. It's near the harbor, but the view from the restaurant isn't great. But the taste of grilled fish is amazing. Salads are great too. The price is also reasonable. The taste of grilled sardines is really impressive. Although the material is also great, the skill of the grill master is the best.

Great food at very reasonable prices for the quality and freshness. The owner/manager was very polite and helpful and took on feedback about some of the translations on the menu. The service was good although the English was limited and a little slow when it came to paying and wanting to leave.

Delicious, and authentic grilled seafood. I wouldn’t recommend the beef here. They are more well known for their seafood and it is very good. Packed with local businessmen from the surrounding businesses at lunch which I think is a good sign.

Fresh fish and seafood in large portions and cheep prices. A bit hard to find. Google gave us the wrong directions... Felt a bit like a neighbourhood barbecue with high atmosphere and stressed waiters. Lots of locals in line for a table when we left. They had an eglish menu but did not speek much english.
